Windrock Park
Spanning 73,000 acres, Windrock Park boasts over 300 miles of trails, making it the largest privately owned riding area in the U.S. The trails are categorized into four levels: Easy, Moderate, Difficult, and Extremely Difficult, ensuring a suitable path for every rider. Popular trails include Trail 51, leading to the breathtaking Panther Rock overlook
Ed Carter (North Cumberland)
Ed Carter Unit, part of the North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area (NCWMA), spans across Campbell and Claiborne counties and has recently become a standout destination for OHV riders. This area now features 100 miles of newly developed trails, designed to accommodate a wide range of off-road vehicles and skill levels. Winding through dense forests and rugged hillsides, the trails provide a mix of terrain from smooth, scenic routes to more technical and rutted paths.
Royal Blue (North Cumberland)
Situated within the North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area, Ride Royal Blue offers a mix of ATV and SxS trails. The resort provides convenient access to the trails, with accommodations and amenities for riders. Permits are required and can be purchased at the resort or various local outlets.
Cherokee National Forest (Tellico Plains)
Off road adventures along designated roads in the Cherokee National Forest will take you to mountain balds, rivers steams, and on the Tennessee portion of the Trans America Trail (TAT.) Overlanders will want to select their routes and dispersed campsites.
New River Unit (North Cumberland)
The New River Unit of Tennessee’s North Cumberland Wildlife Management Area (NCWMA) is a premier destination for off-highway vehicle (OHV) enthusiasts, offering a diverse range of trails set amidst the scenic Cumberland Mountains, including the popular Brimstone trail system.
