The King’s Birthday Garrison

November 15-16, 2025

Fort Loudoun State Park provides a glimpse of life during the time of the French and Indian War (1754-1763).The future of the North American continent was in the balance as armies from France, Spain and England fought for control of this land and its vast resources.

Reenactors bring the fort back to life on this weekend. See soldiers and Cherokee going about their day, training, firing cannons, working about the fort, and demonstrating professions of the time. Just outside the gates of the fort, visit Tuskegee Village, the birthplace of Sequoyah.

Free family friendly event.
