Fall Heritage Days
October 24, 2025 - November 9, 2025Join us this fall for one of the most beloved educational events in East Tennessee—Fall Heritage Days at the Museum of Appalachia. Designed especially for student groups, this immersive experience brings Appalachian history and culture to life in a vibrant, hands-on setting.
From pumpkin carving and wagon rides to blacksmithing, sorghum making, and spinning & weaving, students will have the opportunity to engage with dozens of live demonstrations and traditional Appalachian crafts. Music, storytelling, and interactive stations round out a day full of learning, discovery, and fun.
Our picturesque 60+ acre museum campus provides a safe, outdoor environment ideal for curious minds and active learning. All activities are designed to enhance students’ understanding of regional history, arts, and agricultural heritage.
