Norris Lake, the first created by the TVA, is a top destination for year-round outdoor fun. Popular activities include houseboating, floating cabins, and island camping. Often called the “cleanest lake” in Tennessee, lake is set in the Clinch and Powell River valleys and surrounded by forests, three state parks, and multiple WMAs, the lake offers endless adventure where mountains meet water.

With 22 marinas offering boat rentals, fuel, guides, and waterfront dining, it’s easy to explore. Lake maps are available at each marina.

Fly-fishers can head below the dam, where record trout have been caught. End the day dockside with live music and a sunset—an unforgettable finish to your lake day.
