Historic Roane County Courthouse
Built during 1853-1855 and is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Combination of Greek Revival and Federalist styles. No nails were used in the original structure and was built using native lumber and bricks made locally. Is one of only 7 antebellum courthouses left in the state of TN. It now houses The Roane County Museum of History and Art and The Roane County Archives and Library.
