Cades Cove is 2500 acres of open space located in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is a beautiful sheltered valley with a mixture of forests, meadows, and an outdoor museum of pioneer life of the 1800's. Everyone can enjoy Cades Cove whether by car or by exploring the many trails, either on foot or horseback. No matter what the season, spring, summer, winter or fall, you do not want to miss Cades Cove when traveling through the smokies. The National Park and the Cove are open year-round.
