DOE Facilities Bus Tour

Anderson County

This tour is free with paid admission to the American Museum of Science and Energy, and runs Mondays - Fridays during the summer (no weekends), except holidays. Explore the original Manhattan Project sites around Oak Ridge and learn the history behind the development of the world's first atomic weapon which helped to end WWII.
Bus tour participants must be U.S. citizens 10 years and up. Registration begins at AMSE at 9 a.m. Monday through Friday, except for government holidays (July 3 & 4 and Sept. 1)
